Jetzt ist es wieder so weit; die Stadtratstasche ist gepackt, die Vorlagen für nächste Woche gelesen und die Termine noch mal aufgefrischt. Morgen geht es wieder los. 2018 wird sicher politisch ein spannendes Jahr. Noch ist unklar, wie unsere Bundesregierung aussehen wird und die Landtagswahlen werfen ihre Schatten voraus. Da kandidieren ja auch Menschen, die mir sehr wichtig sind – allen voraus die liebe Gülseren Demirel, der ich von ganzem Herzen den Einzug in den Landtag wünsche. Ich will es aber nicht beim Wünschen lassen, sondern hoffe, dass ich sie auch intensiv im Wahlkampf unterstützen kann. Für mich selbst merke ich, dass ich immer zufriedener mit der Entscheidung bin, nicht mehr zu kandidieren. Familie und Freunde werden mir immer wichtiger und ich kann mir ein Leben nach dem Rathaus sehr gut vorstellen. Doch bis dahin vergeht noch einige Zeit und die werde ich nicht mit Däumchendrehen verbringen 😉

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a
